Midweek Book Review What I Have Read and What I'm Currently Diving Into

Hello everyone,

In this recap I will be discussing my current reads and what books I finished this past week. I also want to touch on my journey.

My love of books started very young as I am sure most of you readers did too. I read the norms like Sweet Valley Twins then Sweet Valley High, Babysitters Club, and all of those popular series. Quick side note, I just discovered that they have reimagined these series with graphic novels. I thought that was totally awesome and not going to even lie I was tempted to read a child's book.

Now back to my point. My love of books... while I love reading all books, romance or romantasy is where it is at for me. I will devour these books. So that's a little tidbit about me. Each blog post I want to share a little glimpse into why I love books or a little personality trait about myself. My goal is to really connect with other readers. Now to my recap...

Currently Reading...

The Crown of Gilded Bones By Jennifer Armentrout

I have been reading this book for a while. It is the 3rd book in the Blood and Ash series. I am struggling with this. I usually go nonstop with romantasy series once I get engrossed in them, but this one is giving me a bit of a hard time here.

The Sirens By: Emilia Hart

This book is another slow read. I am on Chapter 17 and I am starting to get into the mystery around it. To be honest I probably would not have picked up this book if it wasn't so pretty and a friend wanted to read it together. I'll keep you posted on this one. So far I would say the Don't Judge a Book by it's Cover is accurate here, but in a negative way.

Pucked Up By Helena Hunting

This is book 2 in the series and I'm just not feeling this one either. I think I am having a bit of a reading slump because I'm really not too into anything that I am currently reading. The first book was good but this one is just meh so far.

Nora Goes Off Script By Annabel Monaghan

I take my above mentioned reading slump back. I am loving this book. I just started reading it the other day and am flying through it. For a no spice book I am pleasantly surprised on how much I am liking this.
