Nora Goes Off Script Book Reviewas

4.5 Stars on Amazon - 4.1 Stars on Good Reads

Nora writes love stories. The type of love stories that people like to cozy up to at Christmas time and binge watch. She literally writes that. Her love stories are all over that network. Then her dead beat of a husband leaves her and she writes against her norm. Now she has Hollywood filming her script, The Tea Room, in her safe space. They're ruining her grass and everyone in her small town is talking about the Hollywood stars that are there.

The biggest change for her though his the Hollywood star, Leo Vance, with all of his smoldering has decided to squat in her tea room for a week. He needs a break and she needs the money. Now Nora's non-love story script may have just gave her her very own love story in real life.

My Review:

This book has no spice. It has no mystery or life altering drama. It does have a single parent. But putting the single parent trope to the side, I would think this is not my cup of tea (yes, pun intended). However I loved this damn book. I couldn't put it down.

Who knows? Maybe it was the reality of it all or maybe it was because it did read like a Hallmark movie that wasn't set with Christmas as the background. All I know is that if you're okay reading a romance book with no spice (like none) then read this. Such a good read.
