Talia Edens is a doctor—and an exceptional one at that. It's all she's ever aspired to be. Since her teenage years, she's dreamed of becoming a doctor in Quincy, Montana, surrounded by her family and the people she cherishes in her small town. She doesn't realize how truly lonely her life is until this infuriatingly attractive man reenters her life and refuses to leave her alone.
Talia loved Foster with all her heart, and she believed he loved her too. Just as she was about to leave for medical school, Foster broke her heart. Discovering that the man you loved was in love with your best friend and marrying her would leave anyone feeling jaded. When Foster reappears seven years later and seems to be sticking around, she is compelled to listen to him and uncover that perhaps she doesn't know the full story of what happened all those years ago.
My Review:
This book was enjoyable. It features a second chance romance with a passionate boxer determined to win back his woman. It's a great formula. The only issue is that it's the third book in the series and had to match the quality of the first two books. I felt it didn't quite succeed. The chemistry was present but lacked intensity. The mystery and drama didn't measure up to the previous installments. Despite these points, the book was still enjoyable and deserves a Worth It stamp.
